We are looking for volunteers to have fun with us in bringing Maker Faire to Glasgow.
Most roles are for only the days of the event. Dates will be announced soon!
However, we have some room for our organising team if you want to be involved in pre-event activities.
Makers Welcome: Responsible for greeting makers as they arrive, and guiding them to their exhibition spots.
Attendees Register: Responsible for registering attendees from 9:30am to 1:30pm or 1:00pm to 5:00pm.
Activities Supporters: Responsible for facilitating and supporting hands-on activities. Examples of activities are cardboard fort building, learn-to-solder, etc.
Stage Manager: Responsible for keeping presentations and performances on schedule and working with presenters and performers to ensure they have what they need. Stages include Maker Education, Innovation, and Fashion Technology.
Event Reporter: If you are social media savvy, let us know! We need a social media assistant to post on behalf of Glasgow Mini Maker Faire throughout the event – from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm.
Event Videographer: Responsible for capturing the fun and interesting photo/video imagery from maker exhibits and great moments from the event. Post-event editing is welcome but not expected.
